Lady Peacock Print

Description

The Peacock lady has a royal blue background and a turquoise body with an iridescent turquoise overlay. Her body has several iridescent peacock feather appliques sewn along her body. A curving row of green feathers was placed between the feather appliques. The Peacock Lady’s headdress has layered feather appliques from her crown to below the shoulders. Her arms are also appliqued with the green feathers on her body.
Her face has the traditional black and white stripes of the peacock appliqued as her eyes. Her mouth is a black applique.
She stands with one arm up and extended out, revealing the colors within the span of her wings. Within her wings, her feathers are represented by the embroidered and beaded rows of dark blue, black, copper, turquoise, and green.
